Hks ti exhaust owners in here please

hey im looking for my new exhaust and just wanted to know if the hks carbon fiber ti exhaust is 3'' all the way intill it next down to fit the stock cat. if so did anyone cut it off to make it 3'', thanks jim

its either the hks ti, apexi n1, or rnr exhaust. not to worried about sound just want a good exhaust that looks good while im at it. i know the rnr is a true 3'' with no resnators, the n1 does neck down alittle bit.

i have pics of RNR's hks ti exhaust on an EVO if you want to see. I'd have to email it or IM it to you though. Lemme know. I also know that those are on backorder for a month or so. So you wouldn't be able to get it for like a month. But I was gunna get it for my talon, but since they're on backorder im just gettin the magnaflow.

i realy dont mind spending the money for the hks aslong as i could make it a true 3'' just like the thermal just cut off the end and put a 3'' pipe with a flang on.

hey prodigy, do you have any pics of the exhaust on and off the car. does the exhaust come with any resanators. do you know if the gsx is full 3'' with a neck down to the cat, and if i could cut that off just like the thermal exhaust. thanks jim

It's a really nice setup, 3" from the cat , all stainless steel piping then opening to a 4.5 inch tip.

Prodigy helped me install mine and it fitted like it really belonged to the GSX. All the hangers and hardware are supplied, except the bolts for the cat and the gasket for it. Im planning to get a 3" SS downpipe and hi-flow cat.
