HKS electronic valuve controler what the heck dose it do?

I just got done droping 5300 down on a 97 gsx stoker 2.3l and it has a HKS electronic valuve controler and im just wonder what dose it do and whats it used for? This is the first time i seen one of these before and figerd i asked before i mess with it.

Its an electronic boost controller / boost gauge. Kind of like the Greddy Profec or Apexi AVC-R

At least that way you can review the set up.

So instead of beign one under the hood that u turn by hand the is just a electronic one. Hmm i was wondering why the car didnt have a boost controller on it.

Yes you can change your boost from inside the car.

Blah i had an hks evc when i purchased my car that came with it but it was non-working.
