Hey guys im gonna be hitting the dyno very soon with my current setup. But before that since im tuning with eprom chip and SAFC....i need some advice from the experts. The car will be on pump gas 93 octane for all runs. Current mod list is as follows: Evo 3 16g, 272/272 cams, FMIC, 3" exhaust, FIC 650 injectors, 2G mas, walbro 190 pump. Before I hit the dyno i need to get a custom chip made and im looking for any recommendations you guys can give me. I want to be running 20-22psi range, with the chip being programmed....im curious to know what kind of timing advance would you guys recommend to be put on the chip? Do you think id be able to get 18 degrees timing with very minimal knock and fairly low IDC's? Secondly I also want a custom eprom chip for 110 octane which I have never tuned before. What kind of AFR's should i be looking for on 110, as well as timing advance? Last but not least what kinda power should I expect to see on the dyno on pump and on 110? Any help would be appreciated.
