Hey everyone, I just recently installed my boost gauge. The only other mods I have are: K&N inatke with adaptor, and Greddy Type-S BOV. Now whenever I floor it my boost shoots up to about 17 psi, hold for a second, then goes down to 15, and it stays there untill about 4500-5000 RPM then after that it goes down to 12 PSI. Does that sound normal? Also at an Idle I have about 18- 20 vac, and when slowing down I have about 20-24. Does this all sound normal or should I be worried. Thanks in advance.

i installed a MBC but i keep hearing about,
taking off the Stock mbc????? do i need to do that and if so HOW DO I !?!

a friend of mine with a 97 GST has hit fuel cut prolly 10-15 times. I drove it to school 1 day and it hit FC 2 times that mornin and 1 time that afternoon granted he was runnin 18psi bc his controller was messin up or he had it set too high. he's still runnin the t25

i have a sbr mbc and mine wont boost over 14 psi because of the crappy plastic bov  but i have a 1g bov waiting for an uip.......... also when i turn down the boost all the way it wont got any lower than 11 psi

wow... so this exact thing happend to me... just like gsxtacy explained...
"Imagine your tearing down the quarter mile.

You've already banged the 1-2 and your in second right after the shift.....the needle is around 5000 rpm and WHAM....
It feels exactly like both your front wheels hit a HUGE rut in the road and nearly tore your front suspension out!!!"

accept I was going down the highway in 4th gear, and on a back road when this happened. Scared the shit out of me, it started to happen after I got my exhaust put on which was about 4 days ago.

I currently have a turbo xs rfl BOV, replaced stock air box with k&n, and the biggest mod of all so far is the turbo back exhaust with no cat. 2.5" from downpipe to testpipe, then 3" back to a basically 3" straight through exhaust. I ordered a walbro 255 fuel pump, hopefully this will help it out for now, I still have the stock turbo, and didn't really want to get into too much other engine things untill I get a new turbo, which will be here soon. Also ordered a turbo xs dual stage bc, prolly won't put that in untill I get the new turbo though.. we'll c

Well i use to hit very bad fuel cuts on my t25 (mostly becouse of my boost controler) but its not preatty situation. Blew my poor t25 in less then 2 weeks. and yes it is possible to hit fuel cuts on t25. Especially when its cold outside.

It wont go any lower than that because thats what the stock wastegate accuator is rated at...
