When i got my car it was at 210kish but i have been thru 3 cluster since then so i dont honestly know how many miles are on it now, Im guessing somewhere in the 250-270k range. Original motor and trans when i got it, rebuilt approx 30k ago and soon to have another.

179,xxx on chassis, car is on its 4th, yes 4th motor. I bought it with a crankwalked 7-bolt jasper engine. Tossed in a used 6-bolt, turns out it was missing a lower rod bearing Had the machine shop hone out and rebuild the curent engine. 2k so far and running strong.

Here's one for you guys. I bought a '91 Talon TSI that had been sitting for two years in a barn for 500 bucks. It had been parked because the rear passenger brake locked up. I put abattery out of my Laser in the Talon, dissasembled the brake assembly and hit the key. The guy I bought it from swore left,right,up,down and sideways that it would not start................... On the third crank it fired up. I drove onto the back of the trailer on two year old gas and it sat there and idled for about 5 minutes while I strapped it down. On the way home I put some 93 in the tank. Then I drove it for about 30 minutes when I got home. Original tranny and engine and everything else. Odometer reads 334,615. I have since torn down the entire car and am building it with that original engine and trans. If you want pics, just ask.

114K on original motor and tranny. Motor is out of the car though as the previous owner misplaced one of the oil pan bolts. By misplaced i mean he left it sitting in the intake. Getting the pistons ceramic coated and new rings/bearings then its back on the road.

1ga has almost 157k on rebuilt engine, and second tranny.
2gb has 133k virgin internals except for cams.

I sent a PM to that 600k+ guy telling him to post a pic who knows if he'll reply.

Anyways I have 138K+ on my '90 TSi AWD. No rust whatsoever on the body. The motor was rebuilt at ~130k but didn't need it. Just started pushing alot of power and figured some forged internals were in order so why not rebuild while its apart. My '97 GS-T has 108k on the stock motor no rebuild, but this is about 1G's so. Always thought 138k was high but looking at that list i'm in the bottom 20%

Since I am at work, my father is taking the picture with his phone and emailing it to me. As soon as it gets in I will post it. I also feel that I need to explain that I am not shitting around. I have done nothing to the odometer to make it read this number, this car was a family driver that was taken to a dealer for repair/maintainance only. I know the man that previously owned the car and my father actually did repairs on the car while he worked at the dealer. If the car did not have so many original miles, I would not have even bothered to post on this thread or to take the time to do the tally.

Thats a crazy amount! Its very hard to believe any of the major components are untouched.

216000 KMS on body and suspension. Suspension being replaced as I can afford and trans just took a shit but I still drive it. On 2nd Motor and its .20 over and completely machined and new/rebuilt so it should last untill I get another daily driver and can make this my weekend toy.
