K, back ground, started off with a Journal bearing turbo(s), (first AGP RS60, then S362) both feed from the OFH. During that time I don't think I ever saw my oil pressure above 80psi at WOT (don't remember idle, I just remember always watching it during pulls, for fear of blowing my sending unit). Well after the 2nd turbo crapped out on me, I went NA (I just put my S362 back on, but hollow, but I did block off between the hot/cold sides). Also, just put a bolt at the end of my oil feed/return lines. Well, that is when I sarted noticing higher oil pressure (100psi +/-) keep in mind, the car was slow as all hell at that point, but still making more pressure then when I had the turbo(s) on. Well, then I got my new BB turbo (FP HTA DSM86), and fed from the head with restrictor. Started off with Brad Penn 20-50 (used to use Mobile 1 10/30), well, the oil pressure would go waaaaaaaaaaay over 100 at idle reving to 3k or so (so, obviously just as bad, if not worse, WOT, guage only goes to 100, but the needle can go a little past). Well, thought of a couple reason why, so I looked at my relief valve, spring seemed fine, piston was clean, (I have a 90 housing with a cooler). Also it appears to be ported, and like I said 10mins ago, it WAS good before. Also switched to brad penn 10/30, pressure is still over 100 at WOT and almost every place that could leak oil is now.
