1 of 2 things the bulb is either getting wet somehow and shorting out or its the wrong bulb, my mom cracked her back tail light on her volvo and all it does it get wet and burn out i mean we changed the whole housing but if it got went it blew out almost instantly and if its not sealed right dew or condesation could get in there and do the same thing
