High idle issue

Upon cold start-up, the car idles beautifully at about 900 RPMs. But once it's warmed up, it's between 1600-1900. It's incredibly annoying.

I have completely removed the FIAV and ISC. I'm also running a 1G TB. I am using the simulated idle feature as well. TPS is properly adjusted.

What do I need to do to adjust/control idle once warm?
Also, what would cause the 1000 rpm difference between a cold and warm engine?

Oops, I forgot to mention that. I use DSMlink.

Have you blocked off the coolant lines to the throttle body? That yeiled the same problem on my old 1g. I put them back and problem disappeared.

Yes, I've completely removed and blocked off the FIAV, so no coolant lines. There's got to be some sort of mechanical idle control. I'll play with the BISS and throttle stop this afternoon and see if I can level it out.

Check the throttle cable, and the stop like you had mentioned.

Try adjusting the cable using this method. Post #4 Second paragraph.

Thanks for the post, Jim.

I tightened the BISS screw an hour ago, and it brought the warm-engine idle back down to 900 RPM's. I'm still waiting for it to fully cool down so I can see if it still holds a good idle off a cold start.

If that doesn't do it, I'll re-adjust my throttle cable per Kevin's post.
