i have yet to order an afpr and i'm having hesitation/missing in lower rpm until it gets full boost or get in higher rpm and than it haul-A$$...

brand new pcv
brand new ngk plug and wires

i'm going to order an AFPR eventually but i was thinking about getting HKS 272 Cams and jm fabrication's intake manifold first if i can fix the hesitation without an afpr.

thanx..

I think you answered your own question, although you should invest in the Fuel pressure regulator before you get your cams because that 250lph pump you have is most likely outflowing your stock fuel pressure regulator.

No, the HKS cams and JM fab SMIM will improve your top end where you're not effected by the over run stock fpr but your car will still bog and run like crap off boost and in low boost too. Get that AFPR first.

I think that low throttle driving is a little bit more important than WOT driving. I personally would definately get a fuel pressure regulator if you want to be able to daily drive the car, but it is up to you.

Low-end hesitation could be caused by a few different things. Have you checked your fuel pressure yet? More than likely, it is too high, but I would definitely check it before I went out and bought an afpr. I was recently getting some nasty low-end hesitation, and I fixed it by cleaning my throttle body and reseting my SAS screw and TPS.

i was playing around with my maft and when i lean it out the low-end hesitation wasn't as bad as before and wow! top end really pull... OMG i'll play with it some more and see if i can find a good setting for it. too bad when i ordered my custom chip i didn't ask for a 11:1 fuel map? i didn't know about it until recently while searching.

I agree, that AFPR is key on a 255 or even a re-wired 190 since there will be overrun. Now remember, the great thing about a chip is that you can have one re-burned for minimal cost and slap that sucker in. I can vouch for the difference over the 9.5:1 map by going 11:1. All I need now is to upgrade the SMIC and run the same A/F with about 18-19 degrees timing and I should see some fantastic power.

Get that sucker on there and whatever you do, don't buy a Command Flow since all you'll be able to do is turn the fuel pressure up.
