The problem with removing the needles is not only that you may not be getting the needles back on in the proper position, but the gauges themselves are extremely sensitive and the pressure exerted to pull the needles off and to push them back on can damage the gauges. If you must have custom faces, the best way to install them is to lay them over the stockers; most aftermarket gauge faces have an oversized "center" hole so that you can gently slip them over the needle. Just get another gauge cluster at this point and try installing without removing the needles, or try repositioning the needles on your cluster until the values are correct...

Could sombody slip the speedo needle over the stopper and take a straight on picture of the needle still on but on the other side of the stopper so I can get am idea on where the needle sits I've tried googling it but my comps broke so I can't use the internet but my phones.. if sombody would do that that would help so much...

Hate to confirm it but kchaaz is right. You should not have removed the needles in the first place. I broke my fuel needle on my 94 celica when I was installing new faces. The how to's I read all said to slip the new faces over the needle and just glue down over the old. You probably messed something up with the internal calibration just by removing the needles. Check a scrap yard or other source for a new cluster. And when you slip the faces over the needles this time, be extra careful not to remove or break any needles. If you can't get a new cluster right away, have a friend drive at different set speeds in another vehicle and make mental notes of where you see your speedometer and how fast you're really going. Example, have a friend drive at 45 MPH beside you and hold speed. Note where your speedometer is. If its 65 MPH on yours know you're doing 45 MPH. I would do this for typical posted speed limits. 35 - 70mph. This way until you get a new cluster you can go with the flow and avoid speeding tickets.

Easiest way to tell if your speedo is right, is to go to on a road where you can drive 60mph. Reset since your trip odometer and time how long it takes to go 1 mile, at 60mph constant it should take 60 seconds.
