Got a quick question about installing a NRG hub adapter on a 1g. If you check out the picture, there is a brass colored rod with a spring attached to it. I believe that this rod is supposed to contact the back of the NRG hub so that it provides an electrical current for the horn to function. The problem is that when I attached the NRG hub, the brass rod does not come close to touching it. Is this normal? Is there a way to adjust the brass rod to make it stick out more? Or am I just not able to have a functioning horn with the NRG hub adapter?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!:thumb:

A horn is a must if you live in California, too many idiots on the road! ;)

So, am I the only DSM'er who's run into this problem, or am I the only one who cares about having a horn???

What an awkward setup... Most use wires.. It might just be a ground so you could always wire in your own grown like other kits or find a clever way to extend that rod which shouldnt be very hard...
