help with idle

I know this will be a dumb question, and i searched but did not find a direct answer, can someone tell me how to adjust the idle on my 92 eclipse gs non turbo, right now it idles very low, and it does need to be turned up a bit

what you can do is locate your iac or isc biss screw which is located on the intake manifold there is a screw just go ahead turn it and adjust your idle speed there will be a rubber nipple you have to remove that to find the biss screw

While that will kind of work, the correct way is to ground the timing adjust connector in the engine bay and pin 10 on the Diagnostic Link Connector in the drivers footwell to put the ECU into the correct mode for setting the Basic Idle Speed and then adjusting the BISS on top of the throttle body for a 750 RPM idle. If the Idle Speed Controller is bad it might not move to it's default position when you ground those two connectors and cause problems when you turn on the AC or turn the steering wheel.
