Well my name is Rob im from St Louis MO..

I bought a 89 colt gt with a 2.0 swap (fwd).
It was a fun car few mods here and there 16g injectors slick's maf-T custom front mount lotta bolt on's. Im like 99% sure the guy who owns it now is one here.

Ok heres the deal since ive sold the car i miss the fun of having a small turbo car.
Im sitting on the cross line of swaping a 5.3 in my chevy truck and going turbo or.....

Buying my self a awd dsm. My budget is around 4500 for awhile.

What im shooting for is low 12's at best but i just wanting something i can hook the crap out of on the street and mph a little. again 12.50's 12.60's and have it dependable ... AHAHAH! i know i shouldn't had said dependable on the dsm forums but you get the ideal.

What do you guys think ? 1g 2g ? i love the look of a 1g but they are hard to find here in st louis ... well the non raped non totaled ones anyways so i could settle for a 2g if i had to.

Any help would be sick . Thanks alot guys
Rob.

Im not looking for a 10sec car by any-means ... low 12's seams to be the cutoff point for me ... anything faster everyone turns to d-bags and wont race but spend all night talking $hit around here in st louis .

Also .. i in NO WAY want a FWD im not going from a roll or plan to trap a 145mph LOL...

Well looks like i found it ?

Gonna give the guy a ring tomorrow ...
Looks super clean its dead on what im wanting.

Bit of a drive from STL but ive been everywhere .

Good luck on finding your DSM. I say find a DSM and build one of them. You have experience so keep with it. Also check craigslist too, there are many gems out there to be found.

with 4500 dollars you could DEFINITELY find a nice 1G, so just finding the right car would be the only issue. People tend to abuse these cars.

like the above guy says, craigslist for sure. but that one you found is definitely nice especially if it's all stock, those are hard to find. no pics sucks though. :/

 Bone STOCK! ..... so clean also LOL...:thumb:

It dose have pic's click the link .

Talked with him he's firm on 3400 Think its a deal honestly ? its 460 miles from my house and he wont budge a dime on the car.

I just asked him if we would go down a little to help with the gas of me pulling the car trailer up there and back down.
