Hey guys I am getting leaks from the bolts connecting the tb and the tb elbow. I have tried tightening them, of course, as well as new geskets and thread sealer. No matter what I try, I still get leaks coming from around the bolts. What else can I try to stop them?
Thanks

I put new gaskets on mine and used high temp RTV and that seems to be working pretty well.

Check to make sure that the IC pipe connecting to the TB isn't touching the T-stat housing.

I also have a 2G with a 6 bolt and I had a similar issue as you. The pipe which was designed for a 2G motor was up against the t-stat housing and not allowing it to go any further towards the driver's side of the car and close the space between it and the TB. I solved it by putting a small dent in the pipe where it was being held up and also using some generic gaskets which are thicker than the oem gasket. The gaskets I'm using are made by Mr. Gasket and have "1190" stamped into them. The hole in the gasket is just a bit bigger than the throat of the 60mm 1G TB and the bolt holes line up almost perfectly. Just a tiny amount of enlargement of bolt holes needed.

I used the gasket spray on the gasket and flange surfaces but that didn't fix the problem. I will try the rtv though and see if I have better luck with that. I have a smim which sits lower that the stock manifold. The uicp runs just over top of the tranny mount so I will check to see if that is pushing up on the pipe. I might try rtv on the bolt heads as well.

Thanks again
