p0170 - the pcm has determined that during testing, the fuel compensation value for bank 1 exceeded the specified range. (bank 1 identifies the location of cylinder 1. while bank 2 identifies the cylinders on the opposite bank)

can you tell me what is wrong and what part i will need to replace? does that mean o2 sensor, plugs wire etc?

Its an excessive build up of carbon worst case scenario is that it built carbon around your friends injectors or valves what you can do is check these 1) Check the exhaust system for holes or loose bolts
2) Check the air intake system for holes loose bolts or poorly-connected hoses
3) Check the fuel pressure (both with and without the pressure regulator vacuum hose connected)
4) Check the engine coolant temperature sensor
5) Check the MAF/MAP sensor
