Hello,

I recently purchased a 94 eclipse gsx
99 k on car,jdm motor with about 60K on it.

Has larger evo III turbo
3"down pipe aswell as all the way back

He sold it to me for $1000,i thought this was a good deal,i just had to sell my 04-srt-4 and wanted something awd to play with

Anyhow according to the owner it was diagnosed with a bad headgasket,Oil in the water,no water in the oil.The car starts up but wants to die unless you hold the gas a bit, while your trying to move it around it also spudders and seems like its misfiring.Doesnt overheat at all and when warmed up runs a bit better.
took to my local mech and he did a compression check,175 psi across all 4 cyls.plugs were really fouled, seems to be running rich.
No CEL or trouble codes.
no overheating or smoking unless you floor it then a little black puff

any help

thanx
Don

ya i doubt autozone or advanced will have it, try checking the classifieds on here, new ones can be tricky to get a hold of sometimes, you may have to buy a used one

theres some in the classifieds, i just found two in 5 minutes for $25 bucks, changing it is not too hard, just make sure you have a chiltons or haynes manual good luck!, ive never done a oil cooler myself but i helped a buddy do his one time, so if you run into some problims let me know ill help
