HELP! Where does ground by the starter go?

Hey!

I'm putting my car together after a tranny swap, and I'm about to hook up the starter, and there's a ground wire with a pretty big ring on it. Where does it go? My friend yanked it out and he doesn't remember, and I don't want to yank my axle again just for that wire.

Does anybody know where that ground goes? It's the one right next to the insulated positive that goes on the starter and the negative/switch wire.

I just ground it on the tranny where one of the starter bolts goes.
