Hey I got to the point where I was ready to put the flywheel on and I didn't even notice this till now but there is this bushing/washer in the flywheel end of my stroker crank and not one on my 2.0 crank. Is this because the stroker crank was off an automatic? More importantly how the heck do I get it out of there? I tried with a screwdriver for a little but that wasn't working, is there a special type of tool?

Yes that is because the crank was once bolted to an automatic flex plate. I have heard of people taking wet toiltet paper (not used;) ) and stuffing it in the middle of the bushing and take something that fits snug in the middle of that bushing ad hit ip with a mallet, the wet paper has nowhere else to go and forces the bushing out.

Got it out. Took some greese and packed it in there best I could. Tried wedging a screwdriver in there and pounding down on it. Then I got a pilot bushing puller tool and slide hammer from AutoZone and of course it was too big. But that was there smallest size. So I was able to get it in the smallest diameter hole closest to the crank with the assistance of my ford wrench (aka a hammer). And it popped out then.

Now I notice I don't have a dowel pin in the crank so I need to order one of those from the dealer.
