Just wondering, I've seen lots of info on broken g4cs/4g64 cranks. But how many were in automatics?
Doing some research, it seems that a large harmonic vibration is focused on the #4 rod area in inline 4 cranks. A flex plate/torque converter can actually act as a second harmonic damper, lessen the vibration, and move it to another area if the crank.
