Ok, I registered and insured my 97GST and finally took it for a drive. I drove about five miles and noticed that it was kinda more difficult to shift into first than usual. I got into downtown and on a stoplight I was getting ready to shift into 1st but I couldn't for some reason. Then I tried shifting into 2nd, 3rd, 4th....nah. It didn't want to. I tried shifting into 1st again but the shifter started to rattle. I managed to get it into 2nd somehow and drove it home (leaving it into 2nd). Then I turned off the car. About 5 minutes later I started it again and drove around the block for a few times. The car didn't have any problems shifting into gears........everything seemed normal again WTF WTF
I talked to my dad about this and he said that the clutch was set to respond right away and said that the clutch has to respond somewhere in between (not to late and not to early) So he adjusted it and told me that everything should be ok now.....
Oh yeah, the clutch was replaced by the previous owner about 2000 miles ago with a new stock one. Is it possible that they did something wrong during the installation or something like that? Or is everything fixed now that the clutch was adjusted?
HELP ASAP plz. I need some responses.
