Can someone please tell me what goes in these three holes on the front of the block. It's a 7 bolt with a 1g head.

Motor mount?? I don't think so unless it goes through the exhaust pipe LOL. Its the dipstick hole and the holes for holding the coolant lines to the block.
Edit: I would have deleted that post to. LOL

1 - Not an original hole if it's a through hole as it appears to be
2&3 - Mounting holes for the OE bracket to which the downpipe is originally bolted to and supported by
4 - Oil Dipstick
5 - For the coolant feed pipe from thermostat housing to oil cooler

The first thing that comes to mind is for a sensor to measure crankcase pressure. Otherwise I haven't the foggiest. As I said, a through hole there isn't original; I don't try to understand why people do some of the things they do. :)

Here's another 2G 7-bolt block (like the OP's) with the bracket installed, followed by my set up with the bracket showing how the 1G coolant pipe (different from a 2G) attaches to that bracket; this is the same bracket on all 2Gs with the 4G63. I'd be interested to see how yours is set up.

I will try and get some pix of mine after work. As it is too low to get under and get a good pic and need to put it on a lift or jack it up. As for now I'm stumped for an answer to another question I've trying to figure out for the longest time. I am going to make a thread and will post the link for you. Hopefully you or someone else can help cause the dealer said they had no idea how to help me.

Here is how mine is and actually my exhaust doesn't even bolt to any of those holes. They are all for the coolant lines though I don't have all the bolts actually in you can see where they go.

Looks like the bracket has simply been removed. The loop in the bottom of the first and third picture is on the downpipe and is the one that should be bolted to the bracket. See http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/396453-trouble-removing-my-turbo.html#post152510990; or http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/408007-square-block-turbo.html#post152662091.

The line centered in your second picture with the big bulb at the bottom left is the turbo oil feed line: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/257186-can-anyone-tell-me-what-part-hole.html.

EDIT: Another good visual of the front of a 2G block - http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/228253-clear-pic-showing-proper-direction-out-water-pump-pulley-go.html#post50375516

I didn't actually mean to post two of the same but anyways. The holes 2 on mine are all used to hold the oil lines to the block. As you can see the three brackets on the lines. The stock exhaust did have the holder on it and think it join with one of them holding it and the oil line because I don't think there is actually a hole behind the one bracket made for two bolts but only holding one. anyways I think the OP got his fill of info on these holes LOL
