these are the following mods done to my 1995 eclipse gst

6Bolt motor
JE pistons
Eagle rods
hks264/264 cams
valves retainers
3inch exhuast
fmic custom piping
portn polished intake mani
hks throttlebody
hks bov
550cc injectors
255 fuelpump
stock 14b turbo

during cold mornings my car has to be cranked several times to start. The colder it is the harder it is to start. My battery is a optima red top almost brand new. When the car finally turns over it either dies out because no gas or i have to continue to pump the gas for it to stay on, after a minute of pumping or reving it to 2-3 k rpms it will level off and idle at 1.5 k rpms, after the car warms up i guess it is fine, but getting the car to initially start is a pain, can anyone recommend me some ideas of what to do, greatly appreciated

plugs are like couple months old, but im kind of a eclipse noob right now, ive been reading, but cant find anything really

i had a problem that was almost the exact same symptoms as your stating and it turned out the be BAD plugs,

Check and make sure that the firing order is correct. When I did my 6 bolt swap it would take a while to start and I switched the plugs and it would start right up. As for the idle shoot some WD-40 around the intake manifold and throttle body while its on. If idle goes up then you have a bad gasket/ loose bolt or something causing vacuum leak. good luck

I have the exact same problem. Im leaning more towards a bad coolant temp sensor, weak fuel reg or even injector leakin.. Im not too sure about the injector cause im not smelling tooo much gas on start up... are u smelling fuel after starting? try replacing the coolant sensor they are easy enough to replace.
