Will 225/50/r16 fit on the stock suspension setup? Right now Im at 205 and they seem close to the upper control arms. I do not want to use wheel spacers. Im going Black Friday shopping this evening so thank you for you time.

Agreed with delta448. If your wheel's offset is anywhere under +46, they wont rub. I once ran 225/50/17 on a +46 offset Stealth wheel and there was less than an inch clearance with the knuckle bend but never rubbed.

I now run the same tire, 225/50/17 on EVO Enkeis which are +38 which spaces them even further out, so a 16 incher will definitely be fine. There was a nice sheet with data of what tire and wheel sizes fit our cars and when they start to rub. It's good to look it up.
