gst wheel tire size help

I have searched and have only came up with one conflicting thread so if it its answered better please direct to to the post. Anyways I have a 1g awd lowered 1.5 inches and im running the stock gst 5 spoke wheels. My question is a 225/50/16 tire too much for this? Im in need of new tires within this month and just trying to figure out my options. Any insight or personal experience would be greatly appreaciated!

well you could use the stock 2g size of 205/55/16?

Yes I know, however im looking for a little more tire. 205 just seems and looks too skinny almost too me.

find out how much the 1g is than the 2g and use this.

Appreciate the help. all i had to do was look on discounttire and it showed it as a "plus zero" so it will work fine.

oh yeah, I forgot about that. Awhile ago i was looking at 17s and it gave me a +1 size for 225/45/17

anyways I guess you got what you were looking for
