Help needed with stroker 4g63

building up a stroker 4g63, and I have run into a roadblock. I have the correct wiseco pistons, but the 2.4L crank and bearings I have will not fit in my block. The main thrust bearing is too narrow. The crank is from a 1995 galant 2.4 4g64. I guess this is the incorrect crank? What is the crank I need to pull off this buildup? I am starting with a 6 bolt 1992 4g63 from my talon. I need the year make and model of the car that this crank comes in. Please help.

talked with a guy at roadrace engineering and he said that I need a crank from a 6bolt truck or van can anyone attest for this.

If you have a 6bolt 4g63 then you need a six bolt crank as they described. You can look for a Hyundia Sonata 2.4L crank also if you needed that crank.

95 galant had a 4g64 7 bolt motor. it is not a 6 botl crank. ive looked at quite a few and after early 90's there was no 6-botl 64.

SBR has 64 6-bolt cranks for liek $350 with bearings. get oen of them and it will drop rightin but you also have to releive the main caps on the block or your rod will nails it. it gets slight clearencing and will not hurt the stregnth of the block
