Ok, I know, yet another spark plug topic. The problem I (DSM tuner in training) am having is looking at Schucks they have the NGK BPR6ES listed use for only a 1g eclipse. From almost every post I looked up this was the suggested brand, but even the nkg site gives me this model number BPR6EKN for my car. Its suggested that I go with copper so what one would you suggest? Here is a list on shucks (chime in if you have a better selection or place to buy, seeing how I will probably have to ship anyway).

Thanks guys.

Ok cool, I was just worried the BPR6ES would not fit perfectly, to long or short. But I will try to find a shop that has them for me. As always you guys did great helping me :beatentodeath:.

You can always go a step colder with your setup too with a set of bpr7es

According to OP's profile, there is hardly anything done to the car. The 7ES's would most likely hurt performance if installed. They are usually used on a medium modified car running higher than 18psi of boost. I would say stick with the 6ES's properly gapped to .028".

Ok thanks all, I just got back from the parts store and found a dsmer with a crazy fast 1g. :D

I just installed spark plugs, 3 had the normal black build up, one cylinder was running lean because it had white. I am going to look more into that...

Well, you guys were spot on. BPR6ES are working great and my car has not idled this well since I can remember. No Platinum plugs (on a dsm) ever again. Thanks all.
