Help me get to 600WHP help me with my parts list

I bought a 93 Tsi AWD auto in beautiful condition. Im going to convert to manual. This is going to be a weekend/summer car, SUPER CLEAN, has 44k original. Want the highest quality, best performing parts without having to sell a kidney. I am shooting for around 600whp on 112 octane. Drivetrain is all taken care of, just need help and want opinions on the following parts....

Engine management- vpc/gcc, haltech, aem ems, etc. etc.
Turbo system- 95% sure on FP3065, unsure on manifold (must be ss equal length), wastgate.
Exhaust- 3.5" SS,not sure who i can have build it, i know buschur has done them
Fuel System- pump, lines, fittings, fuel rail, injectors, afpr, filter...i need suggestions here
Ignition System
Intake Mani/TB setup
FMIC system- maybe water-to-air, BOV.
driveshaft/axles


so what'll get me there guys?? reliably and not too expensivly. have fun with it...

btw engine is 2.0 w/ Groden rods and Ross 8.5 pistons, clevite bearings, arp hardware. Full race head-stage 6! head can rev to like 10-11krpm FP cams(hks264/272 equiv.), SHEP RACING tranny, ACT 2900 clutch, factory new lsd 4bolt and xfer case.
 
how bout shoot for 300 hp first, asking these kinds of questions, and with the miniscule mods you have listed, I don't think your ready for the sheer ammount of MAINTAINANCE that goes with a 600 hp car, let alone the parts to make it, or the skill to drive it.

just as an example, you list that you "must have" a SS equal length manifold. why? do you even know? do you even need one? or are you just looking to have something shiny under your hood that looks high performance. Last time I checked there were more than a few peopel running at 140+ mph with a cast manifold.

so as I mentioned, shoot for 300 whp first, then maybe go bigger. you say your drive train is done, well thast fine, if it can handle 600 hp it can handle 300 w/o even breaking a sweat.
 
that much HP isnt going to come cheat, period.

and whats so magical about 600whp anyways?
 
Go higher compression, Full stand alone, why use a 264 cam? And forget about revving to 11K, Its a Mitsu GSX not a Suzuki GSXR. Theres no realy power to be had up there. Oh yeah and a lot of hope and dreams.
 
managment- aem ems or wait for 1glink

turbo-3065 is high after you buy all fp o2 housings and such, get a gt35r from pte, its ball bearing and supports 680 horsepower and can be made with to4e housings for direct bolt on and through a good distributer you can get one for 1300. as for the manifold look at the cast sbr manifold, dont worry about all the bling of the ss manifold
exhaust-there is no need for 3.5 inch, you should be able to come damn close to 600hp on mandrel bent 2.5", and look at vrsexhaust.com just get a good 3" s.s. o2 eliminator turbo back

fuel system- get a 255 hp and a 255 inline pump with s.s. lines and a aeromotive fpr sbr has everything you will need

ignition- mitsubishi has one of the best ignition systems out there already so put other mods on first and upgrade this if needed only

intake- extrude honed 1g with a 60mm 1g tb should be fine, unless you need the bling of a sheet metal intake mani, and i would still leave a 60mm on there even if you go with a sheet metal intake

fmic- well no such thing as a front mount water-to-air intercooler, for a drag car i would use a spearco water-to-air for a street car i would just stay with a big core air-to-air

driveshaft/axels- drive shaft will be fine as far as breaking but a aluminum one peice will cut back on drivetrain loss, and axles, well if you have a problem breaking them then i think fidanza has beefy ones avalible

but you do know with all these mods at one time there will be problems, if you upgrade then run it after each mod it will be alot easyier, were as if you do all these upgrades at once and have a problem you have alot of areas to check

Btw, stage 6 head? Is that like one of those rotary heads, or just all titanium?
 
Why are there always vague questions like this on this site. Just like the guy asking what it would take to run 10's. Again, the better question would be how many people on here are running 600 whp and what advice would they have. Or what parts or upgrades should I buy for the most HP for X amount of dollars. Guys that are runnin 400+ whp, thats pretty impressive already.
I'll give you some advice. Drive your car out to Shep, drop it off along with 20k and he'll have it runnin 600+ whp and it will take a 100 shot to do so, thats your best bet. Look at Shep's numbers, you think thats easy or cheap.
 
a buddy of mine makes intake main. he made 25hp by just bolting that on it also comes with an 70mm and up tb let me check again, i'll give you the info tomorrow plus that with one of the hondata intake mani gasket! he also make around 800 hp on streetable fully interior car!

not sure about standalone i would also wait for the 1G dsmlink
some nice cams will also help at that stage
well let me check on some other stuff...

I dont feel i need to prove im faster to say... keep dreaming. it looks to me as you poked around the forums and read a little now and then to come up with your 600whp setup. If you need to ask approval of your setup thats going to make 600whp, your in over your head. Good choice on using a BOV, i hear they help. driveshaft and axles usually help to move the car as well, i also agree with this choice. shoot for 350hp before anything. seems you have alot to learn. IMO if you need to post asking people to tell you what to buy to make 600hp, you dont belong trying to make 600hp.

and tomeek, i think u should turn that thumb upsidedown and twirl it up his ass. why must you all complain about people pointing out the truth and the obvious. Threads like these crowd the forum with useless nonesense. If theyre was more real information, rather than people asking approval of theyre dream setups forums would be of alot more help to people and actually serve a purpose.

and btw, no need to come back and try to bash me somehow because your offended, because i dont plan on reading anymore nonesense. Dont need to play mr. moderator and try to decide whos posts need to be deleted.

This whole thread is a waste of time. Most of you guys will be dicks and say, "ever hear of a search button?", or cry and whine about how people dont search. That's how it usually goes.

If you want real info without getting bashed on the internet, call up some dsm shop and talk to them.
 
Sometimes it amazes me that everyone thinks a thread is a waste, including moderators, and yet it still stays open for useless uncredible information to be thrown around and people bickering.
 
600 HP??? why on earth would you be shooting for that?! you have no idea what the maintenance on a 400HP car is, i would know...i OWN one and have to work on it all the time! i cant believe some DSM newbie wanting to make 600HP. it took me ALOT of time and consideration to come up with a streetable, daily driven 400HP car. also took about 10k to build, and that was all the labor done by myself. shoot for 300HP on a 14b which can be had by exhaust, mbc, intake, hard piping, injectors, 1g dsmlink, 255lph fuel pump, aeromotive fpr, k&n filter, hacked maf, hacked aircan, and some gauges to monitor it. with 300 HP you can run a mid-low 12, 400HP did me 11.39 with ALOT of tuning and driving time. as for your tranny, get a busted one, send it off to shep and ask for a standard rebuild, HD 3-4 conversion, and a 4 spider center diff...that will be sufficent for up to about 600HP later on. take your time and read, learn about it all. i too wanted to just jump in and get 600HP...but then reality set in.
