I just recently replaced my o2 dump with a ported 2g housing and had my car apart about a month in the process of doing it. The only things I removed were the o2 sensor and the dump, nothing else.

Now that I have everything put back together, my car won't stay running, it has a strange power flicker that makes all the relays flick on and off and eventually it dies after about 10 seconds.

So I disconnected the o2 wire harness and tried starting it, and it started right up fine and ran fine and steadily, but the cooling fans automatically kicked on. As soon as I plugged the harness back in, it started surging and flickering again, then died.

This is the exact same o2 sensor I had on the car before, and I never had a problem with it before.

Also, I checked all my fuses and found nothing. I dunno what could've caused this, and I don't know where to even start.

PLEASE HELP!!!

Okay, I just ordered a new one last night, but I took the O2 sensor completely out today, and my throttle position is showing 100%.

I pulled the TPS off and tried a different one and it's the same way, no matter how it's adjusted.

This issue just keeps getting worse!

I believe the problem was that I somehow fried the sensor ground on the ECU. I'm going to solder a new ground on today and see if that solves my problem. I did some research and seen this has happened before with the same result.

I took my ECU out last night and sure enough, the sensor ground was fried. So I'll do that and let you guys know if that fixed it.
