Ok guys, so im completely stumped on this and so are a few other people...Tonight driving, i hit my brakes...and my car just shut down completely...like there was no battery power Nothing! I had to have the car jumped...well then i got it going back down the road...stop light comes about and i hit my brakes hold my gas pedal...and it just kicks right out...so i push the car off to the side and get it jumped...well we start watching the headlights and taillights...and everytime i hit my brake my lights would flicker dim and then pop right back up...but then i road the brake into the parking lot...got and it died...anyone have any ideas on whats causing the problem?! Could it be something grounding out?

#1 Check your alternator. Needing to be jump started everytime car dies, tells me its not charging and hitting the brakes may be enough to drain what's left in the battery.

#2 Check your brake switch for a stripped wire (if you have a remote starter for instance it would have been spliced) that may be grounding out. Also, check your taillights wiring for a bare wire which would cause grounding out when brake pedal is depressed.

#3 If #1 checks out ok, change your battery as it is dead and make sure ground and power wires are tight and corrosion free.

already checked the alternator...and the battery is brand new...probably 2 months old at best...as far as the tail light wires, havent checked those cant check them till later tonight...i'll give them a shot later tonight...any other assistance is greatly appreciated!

don't want to be the bearer of bad news but a 2 month old new battery can be bad especially if you have a grounding short that force drains it everytime. I would definitely have it load tested to make sure it's holding charge.

I went through 4 brand spanking new batteries on a customers car before I got one that would hold a charge. Turned out they were all part of a botched batch.

Thats true....ill just bring that one down to advanced n have em test it for me...guess worst case i just have to grab a new one from the shop...

battery has always been bolted down...its a requirement to run any SCCA race...and with the shorting...it only happened when i was stopped...how could the battery just randomly hop up and hit the hood? Impossible..

plus the issues fixed...

Well, why dont you post what the cause was and how you fixed it. If not, this will just be another useless thread that will come up in a search and we already have too many of them.
