Almost positive the only thing you need is the two cam 4g64 cam gears and the 4g64 timing belt. Everything else is the same. Since you use the 4g63 6 bolt front case, you use the 100mm 6 bolt tensioner.

No. You should have used the front case off a 6 bolt 4g63. So you use the water pump, and front case and timing equipment for a 4g63. The only thing different is the 4g64 belt and 4g64 timing cam gears. The tensioner is for a 4g63.

I just called the shop my car is at they ordered three tensioner all of wich didn't work. They tried the 97 2.0l , the 99-2004 ,and the 92 94 ....wich year and model part should I get them to order ? I'm not sure what case I have ,I bought the car with the engine work already done to the car .

In mine I used a 7 bolt font cover with the 7 bolt tensioner. You will use the tension that you used the front cover for. You should reuse your 2.0 front cover and the 2.0 tensioner.

Also according the the cross over the DOHC 2.4 ( the timing belt your supposed to use) uses the same belt as the 95-99 2.0 turbo.

The reason to use the 2.4 cam gears is the marks on the 2.0 will be a half tooth from being lined up to be in correct time.

No. The 4g64 belt is wider than a 4g63 belt. Also, he has a 6 bolt 2.4, so he should use a 6 bolt front case.

OP, why are they using 7 bolt parts? You have a 2.4 6 bolt, or g4cs. You need to use 6 bolt parts.
