Toronto,
My car is running on Tokico Blues Struts + springs (1.5" drop) 18" Konigs wrapped in Yokohama AVS dB 235/40ZR18 91W

I did the homemade rear camber kit and used 5 washers. Test drove it around and the car is dead quiet..except when I hit the smallest of bumps, and it makes a horrible scraping noise, one side more than the other but still there. I also hear it when I do turns.

I noticed that the arm that connects between the axle and the upper control arm is really really close to the wheel. There must be less than 1/2" of cleareance. Would raising my solve this? What options do I have other than raising it up or using less washers, I need every one of them

Im sorry to tell you but I wouldnt risk going with a homemade kit for your suspension but you might also want to check your bushings as they make noises as well.

I'm pretty sure it's not my bushings..unless somehow my bushing can come into contact with the wheels, which I dont see happening. There literally is a scrapping noise that I know is the tire rubbing up against the arm.

And why might that be? What risk?

ChiGGz, did you roll your fender flanges?

Can you clarify that?

I think he means the inner "lip" under your fender. If you put your hand around/under your the side of your rear/front fenders you will feel the lip. On HARD turns my wheels rub mine as well.

I also have a home depot kit, and would say its 10% stronger then the ingalls kit. 10.9 hardness bolts hell ya!!
