2g with a complete 6 bolt swap

Heres the problem...only 2 spark plugs are sparking (2 and 3) gettign no spark from 1 and 4. I just replaced the ptu...ive checked spark plugs and wires. Replaced coil pack samething ive repalced the cas and we redid the timing and still no cigar... any help/ideas would be great

Make sure there is continuity between the Power transistor and the coil. For some reason people keep cutting off the connector for reading the RPM in the engine bay and that disconnected the coil from the transistor for cylinder 1 and 4.

what do u mean : "For some reason people keep cutting off the connector for reading the RPM in the engine bay and that disconnected the coil from the transistor for cylinder 1 and 4"
either im not thinking straight or im just dumb and dont understand LOL fill me in

Get the wiring diagram.

You'll see that the wire that runs from the power transistor to the coil for cylinder 1 and 4 runs first to the spade connector for checking the engine RPMs and from that connector back to the coi
l.

ok ill check this tommorow and ill make sure the cas isnt 180* upside down

Aren't you suppose to switch the plug wires on the injector pins 1 for 3 and 2 for 4 /cylinder wise/.

+1 for what steve said, I wasted a whole week because I decided to clean the engine harness up on the firewall side and accidentally cut the 'engine speed connector' off. Whoops. Best to get the the multimeter out and start looking for continuity.

btw i have megasquirt so wiring is alittle different, but i checked the line from the transistor to the coil pack it looks good not sure what u mean by the Spade connector unless ## talking about the adapter that has the 3 wires that plugs into the coil pack adapter? I used a test light and found out 1 and 4 on coil pack the test light was dim 2and 3 the light was bright, of the 3 wires.. 1 goes to mega squirt 1 goes to the transistor and the third 1 goes inside the car on the main harness...the one that goes inside seems to be the problem, but im not positive where it heads to any help would be appreciated
