alright so buddy let his 95 talon tsi sit for a week or so while it was snowing. after the snow melted we went out to start it and take it for a spin and he started the car let it idle for like 5 minutes, it ran perfect. as soon as her started to back out the car shut off and wouldnt restart. so we left it alone for that day and tried to start it again the next day and it would run rough for about 10 seconds and bog out. ive looked it up and we swapped the ecu checked for vaccum leaks and boost leaks but there werent any and the car still wont run right. the car has a walbro 255, a ported t25, full 3inch turbo back exhaust, and a fmic. please help!!!!:ohdamn:

Check your power transistor, coil packs, ignition wires, crank angle sensor, and injector resistor pack. If you had no vac leaks before, I doubt you have any now. Check all of your components related to fuel and spark. If that doesn't help. I would check your ISC, and fast idle air valve next.

The same thing happened to my 99 GST. Mine sat over the weekend and drove fine for 15 mins then out of nowhere it just shut off. The next day I got it started and it ran till i put pressure on the clutch then it died. Found out that it was a spun bearing and had to rebuild the engine. Hopefully this is not the same problem that I encountered. Good luck!

a spun rod bearing wouldnt be fun.....well we are working on checking all the sensors and what not so we will see what happens after that
