Help! Blowing ignition fuses

i keep blowing ignition fuses as soon as i turn the key to the on position the fuse blows instantly and no dashlights even come on when i turn the car to the on position. i dont even get time to try to crank it before the fuse blows. what the hell is wrong?

which fuse is blowing? did you do anything previously to this happening out of the norm (hook up a stereo, fog lights, alarm, ect.)

ignition modulator fuse and ive recently had a new alternator installed like 3 days before this problem started to happen

Did it run after the alt was installed?

Check continuity between a few localized things in that area. You may just havea connection turned a little bit hitting the case. There also might be a misplaced wire that has worn through because placement was incorrect.

yeah it ran for 3 days after i replaced the alternator before it stared to blow fuses i cant find the the short ive spent 2 dont trying to fix the car and have gotten no where
