i just bought a 93 Eagle talon TSI AWD for $800. wait let me refraise that... i stole a TSI AWD for $800 dollars from some guy and the car runs great and drives, the only thing wrong is the rotors are warped and it needs pads. hard fix right? i have a set of drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads at my house. but the only thing that is wrong with the car otherwise is that the clutch is weird. it got stuck in nuetral when i took it for a test drive. i shut it off started it in gear and double clutched and it drives fine. is the clutch bad or does it need more or less gear lube? would that mean it has to old of gear lube? please help and thanks in advance.

Stuck in neutral as in you couldn't get it into gear with the engine running? That's usually an issue with the clutch hydraulics. Get under the car, and have a friend pump the clutch. If you can't see the fork move, try flushing and bleeding the system. If you still have problems, check the master cylinder to see if it's leaking and possibly going bad. Same with the slave cylinder.

If the clutch checks out fine, then your shifter may need an adjustment.

hey guys thats what the problem was. thanks for your help. That car is soooo much fun to drive! Crazy fast compared to my 2.0 N/T. never getting non turbo again.
