Alright, the swap is nearing completion but I am having a dilemma and its busting me to pieces.

I have a 1991 Talon TSi (Canadian model) also it is a 5-speed. I am swapping everything into the 1991 Eclipse GSX that is an automatic. What will happen when I decide to hook up my Talon's ECU into the Eclipse wiring harness? Will my ECU go crazy with the Eclipse harness?

Also what are the two brain boxes located behind both seats on each side of the car.

Give me a link or something or help me.

The ECU harness is separate from the TCU (Transmisson Control Unit). If you could even plug then in, they'd more then likely do nothing or ruin the ECU / TCU when the power was turned on.

The ECU will work fine. The auto ECU has fuel maps for a 13G turbo/390's and the 5 spd ECU has fuel maps for a 14b/450's. The TCU will be ok.

The Talon/Eclipse cars are the same so everything will switch over. The boxes behind the seats are the controllers for the auto seat belts in the Eclipse.

thanks everyone.

I am using the Talon ECU, and the 560's. Which are getting ready to be switched over to 1000's with a Holset HX40.
