I have a 1G stock radio with the "cd" port on the front and it seems as if there is a slot in the back that is missing something. Antenna and the radio harness is plugged in what could it be for? (Attached picture is not mine just the same radio)

Turbo 1G's came with a six speaker system and there is an amplifier that resides below the stock radio (mine has that amplifier, but no harnesses to connect up to the radio-not worrying about it since it still plays through the six speakers of: dash, door and rear 6inch ovals..).

DSM really wanted to give the Turbo package line something that the other line didn't have.

Is it the same style plug as on the front of the pictured radio? Some of the radios out of the stealth and 3000gt's had steering wheel controls that plugged in a port like that on the back side of the radio.
