Hello...Im new to the forums! Im currently going to purchase a 1998 Eclipse GS-T and it has about 101000 milleage on it....and some of my friends tell me too much milleage is not good to mod and some say it doesnt really matter....can any one help me?

Really depends on what kind of shape the motor is in. Do a compression and/or a leak down test. High mileage really is not a big deal on these cars and 101K is really not that high. I have 135K on my car and I'm decently modded and the car runs pretty good. It's really all about how you take care of it.

Yea, mileage isnt a big deal, like he said, do a compression test, leakdown, all the precautions, also you can kinda tell how the vehicle condition on how the interior exterior looks, i myself take care of the engine and inside and out, i highly doubt ppl are gonna rag the inside and paint and be easy on the motor  . just a thought. but people are going to take as good of care on the engine as the looks. just my 2 cents. :D
