If they're both the same year or both 6-bolt then yes they're compatible

Exactly what I was going to get at after he said one was off a 2g and one from a 1g. Yup as long as they are both 6 bolt heads they are compatible.

Why? There's nothing wrong with 7bolt heads, in fact, there are quite a few people making good power with a 6 bolt block, 7 bolt head combo. It does take a little work to make them work together (thats what that search button up top is for )
