Compatible Parts?

I'm looking to replace worn or busted parts on my `90 TSI AWD. Is there ANYthing body/interior wise that is compatible between the `90-91 years and the `92-94 years, or is it a complete redesign? I know the mechanical stuff is more or less transferrable between various years, but I need info on the non-mechanical things...

I'm specifically looking to replace carpeting, various interior plastic trim pieces, and, most importantly, the rubber weather seals around the doors. Broadening my used parts search to include the 92-94 years would greatly improve my ability to locate compatible parts - but will they fit?

It's clear that certain things like the fenders, hood, front bumper, front light assemblies, etc have changed - I'm just wondering how comprehensive the changes are... would, for example, despite differences in external appearance, the door from a 92 physically install and close/seal correctly on a 90 frame?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

I would check with your local Mitsu dealer. have them check a few interior pieces between the years and see if they have the same part numbers. my guess would be the interior stuff would be the same. or go to a local salvage yard that will let you walk around and check things out there.

All the interior parts are interchangable from 90-94.

Interior is all the same, and the doors will fit, but the trim on the doors is different from talons and eclipses.
