Yes i did search, ive gone through the threads on how to redo your headliner, my only question is to anyone that has done this before.. how many yards of fabric did you need to buy to cover the whole headliner?

I think you will be ok with 3 yards..I think I bought 4 when I did mine just so if I screwed it up, I could do it right..I wanna say it was 30 sumthing by 48 or so..But don't trust my memory..

You always want to have too much.. IT also wasnt that hard really..It was a real pain in the ass though...Do you have a sunroof?

No lucky for me i dont have a sunroof, it seems pretty straight forward as long as i dont wrinkle it when im glueing it down... ok cool so ill aim for 4 yards just to be safe

I also used a very thin layer of that white like pillow stuffing stuff for cushion..It came in a roll of some sort..Just an idea..

You basically just get the contact cement on there, let it cure for a couple minutes..Put on the fabric and kinda smooth it out.. The worst part was probly the push lights up by the rearview mirror..That was tough to not make it tight..

Ohh and making the holes for the screws and what not to hold it back up sucked too..Cause you almost cant cut out the holes untill you put it back in..And you can't see through fabric and cardboard to know where the holes are...Idk, you might have an easier time...

Theres a tech article about it in the interior/exterior section I think..I've never read it, but it might help..
Good luck..

Yea? and it didnt droop afterwards with that stuff... sounds like a good idea if it doesnt droop

go to SillyRabit profile here at dsmtuners and look at his pictures. He is my brother in law. His headliner came out great he put Mitsubishi 3 diamonds on his with leds and plastic. Take a min and look at it maybe do your own idea.

Yea i saw that when i was searching, it came out pretty cool. Im not that creative thought and just want the damn headliner to stop rubbing on my hair while im driving.

so its 4 yards?? at least .. i measured it and its 3 1/2 feet both ways.. 3 feet = 1 yard.. so why 4 yards??

Uhh... Real headliner material has it already on the back. Hence it being headliner material..
Upholstery Fabric, Vinyl Fabric, Convertible Tops, Auto Carpet, Leather Hides, Marine Vinyl & Carpet
1 yard = 36 inches.

Those rolls are 60" wide.

Therefore if it's a 1g you should only need 2 yards.. If memory serves me right.

Im gonna try to redo my girls headliner in a red to match the color of the car
