headlight relay

Can anyone tell me where the headlight relay is located on a 96 GSX ? I lost one low beam and cant seam to figure it out .Its not the bulb.Any ideas? Thanks

Did you check the wiring to make sure it didnt break from age at the plug?

I checked for power with a test light ,that lit up using the car as ground.I ran 2 wires from the plug to bulb .Nothing.I take the ground and run it back to the car instead of the plug and the bulb lights.You would think bad ground but it is the same ground as the high beam and that works .I thought it may have something to do with a relay.I show 9.6 volts at the plug but when I plug the bulb in it does not work .I have 2 sets of lights and a few different bulb and they all do the same thing .

Normally a relay would cut power not ground though I thought. If it shares a ground with the high beam does the high beam work when you switch them on?

I would also check the other side to see if its does something similar or if it is functioning properly. I have had something kinda the same and it turn out the wire had broken off the female spade inside the plug. even though the wire was still stuck into the plug it wasn't actually touching the part the pin connected into.

Other headlight works fine and the high beam works fine. Just the low beam on the drivers side. I dont know its wierd. I'll check the plugs real good again.

I had to actually pull the female spades out to find the issue when mine did this. But if its just a ground that's causing it you could cheat and just run an extra ground wire.
