Background:
I took the headlights off of my 98 Talon to buff the yellow off the lenses. Went to autozone, got the 3M headlight restorer kit. I then took apart the assembly and did the whole restoration process. Now before you jump on me for taking the headlights off the car let alone taking the assembly itself apart let me finish...

I wanted to paint that inside piece(painted chrome) that sits inside the assembly (over the headlights) black. Its cheaper than buying brand new headlights and it still looks pretty cool. Anyway, there is also a clear lense and an amber lense that sit over the turn signal bulbs. I wanted to take out the amber lenses, leave the clear ones, and put blue bulbs in for the turn signal lamp. If you've never taken them apart you'll probably have no idea what I'm talking about but whatever... don't read on I guess.

Problem:
My girlfriend was cleaning the apt. the other day and threw away one of the clear lenses for the turn signal by accident and I didn't find this out until I confronted her after I went to go put the headlights back together. I've contacted the closest chrysler dealer and the best they can do is sell me a whole new headlight assembly. Does anyone know where I might be able to find that lense or am I just going to have to buy another headlight assembly?

First option and the option you already mentioned, search ebay for the headlight you need.. Could probably be found for 20 bucks if you find one that is cracked, or somehow blemished.. You could also search the classifieds here. Since you only technically need the clear lens.. the headlight condition doesn't matter.

Second option and more creative option, Home Depot and Lowes used to sell sheets of clear plastic used for fluorescent lighting.. This plastic is very similar to the plastic you are talking about in the headlight.. One side is flat and one side has a spiky texture. You can get a whole sheet of the stuff for like 20 bucks and cut out a piece or redo both pieces of your headlight so they match each other.

Yea... I never thought of that (Home Depot Option). Thanks alot, very helpful.
