Different headlight assembly for 1GA

Has anyone seen this before? What are these?? I have never run across this before. I would love to hear more about this....

This is a really interesting setup for the front end of the 1Ga, I know the hood has been replaced but it really looks Good in a different kind of way... Almost Skyline-ish?? Maybe... I dunno. I was going to dig around when I get off work to see if there is anything I can find.
