Headbolt washer 6-bolt - any alternatives to OEM

Are the other options then OEM? Putting my motor back and seems the motor didn't have them or I lost them.

Called a local dealer and was told 3 to 5 days at $4 each?!?!? I found them for $1.40 online but is there any alternatives or am I stuck waiting a full week to assemble my motor?

You could get a set of arp headstuds and run them.

I just ordered them and will wait it out to be safe.

If you want to be on the safe side, you would do what 95gstnate said and get a decent set of head studs. You obviously had some sort of problem to begin with that you had to remove the head. Studs are no question a better option than bolts for strength and performance applications. It could mean the difference between blowing another head gasket or not.

About any local machine shop should have 7/16 head bolt washers for a SBC on the shelf.

No worries already had oem bolts, no need for anything different. Just did an overhaul on the head and check things to be safe. I got the car cheap and making sure everything is up to par before I hand it over to my son.
