Head bolts

The factory service manuals for a late 93 and the 94 Eclipse say that head bolts must be replaced when replacing the head gasket. These are the 12 point head bolts. What about the head bolts from 90-91 6 bolt engines? These are the allen type head bolts, are those re-usable? Thanks

6 bolt head bolts are not torque to yield bolts. So, as long as they're not stretched they are reuseable. However, I'm oldskool so I replace them regardless. It's only 45 bucks for them anyway.

Yup, best bet is to replace most bolts that need that much tourqe.
