I have a few questions for you guys:

1.) I took my head off for a rebuild and took all the little allen head plugs out. There was some kind of sealant on them, obviously so they won't leak oil. Do you guys use locktite on them or RTV silicon?

2.) I am buying a FP3052 and want to run an oil filter. I am guessing I buy a fuel filter Like the Earls one that Summit sells. What does everyone here use as their oil filter on BB turbos. I guess I am just worried about making too much of a restriction.

3.) Is there anyway to get away with the stock fan with the FP 3052? I don't think there is but haven't personally seen one in real life. If not what slim fan do you guys recommend. I have a stock radiator.

4.) One last question. I am getting the FP 4" intake. For the guys that have a similar setup. What K$N filter do you use. Will a 6.5" filter fit. Please give me the part # you use and tell me how it fits.

Thankyou in advance,
Ryan

Earl's gives different part numbers for their inline oil and fuel filters. Based on what I've seen the filter element for fuel vs. oil is different. This makes complete sense due to the physical properties of oil and gasoline. Fuel filters use a finer screen and oil would not easily flow through such a screen due to its viscosity. Using a fuel filter would be a foolish decision due to oil flow starvation.

Thankyou, I was unaware that they had filters specifically for oil. Do you happen to know the part # or have a link so I can see one? The AGP filter seems nice but I like to have options.

We have never seen or heard of a contamination failure from using our filter elements.

I like your filter and will most likely purchase it. I was just curious about the other types out there. Also can anyone answer my other questions? I really appreciate it guys. Thanks.

Just so you know I have not used this part so I can't speak of its efficacy, performance, or filtering characteristics.
