Haveing a problem with my DSM could use some help

i have a 1997 GST eclipse and i was getting on the highway the other day an the just poped and the it wonted run right it sounded like it have big ass cams in it and it blows black smoke i thought it was the coil pack was bad but its not so pretty much the car wont run

boost leak/air metering issue...check the the intake pipe as well as all of the intercooler piping

I'm sorry, I'm just a little tired and it's hard to read.

Black smoke won't be caused by a intercooler pipe blowing off. Is there a blueish tint to the smoke? Also does it only smoke when under hard acceleration and what's the severity of the smoke (thickness)?

no its just black its getting to much fuel for some reason and the car barely runs its not drive able

First things first, pop your hood when you have sufficiant light, look/feel for any hoses that might have slipped off, clamps that got bumped anything out of the ordinary.

The code you had, Did you look it up to see what causes it?

Double check all of your intercooler pipes like everyone else said. Last time mine blew off, thats what happened.

Bro, you seriously have to work on your spelling. I highly doubt your car threw 47 codes. Are there some zero's before, after, or in the middle of that code? I am thinking it is just one code possibly, and you read it wrong.

Not to be an ass caleb but yes it could. reason why is the computer is dumping alot of fuel in for the air it should be getting then running rich. But most likely with the whole cupler off it wont run under load at all.

On the ole ladys volvo she blew off a coupler did the same exact thing and some how the coupler was still on the intercooler piping just no worm gear so it was fine under normal people driving but when a retard aka me got behind the wheel I found out it had a boost leak quick.

More than likley you have a boost leak.

did you try pulling out your plugs and seeing if there is any oil in them, or was there oil in your ic pipe?

sorry I couldn't see it running well enough for him to be jamming on it causing the smoke. I have never seen one run that hard with a coupler or pipe blown off though. I do understand the boost leak from what your saying though.
