I'm not sure which catagory to post this in so I'm just going here..

Relevant mods are:

-walbro 255
-inline bosch 044
-afpr set to 38 psi
-fmic with gm maf blow through, running v3 cable
-smim
-6an feed and return lines, magnus rail
-1200cc injectors
-fuel lab fuel filter

When I bought it the headgasket was toast and I had to floor it to start but then it would idle on its own. I though it was just because of the blown head gasket. Now I have a new engine in and I have to do the same thing and keep on the throttle to keep it running. My wideband almost pegs around 10 a/f and it runs very rough. Once it warms up to temperature it will not restart again.

I have replaced cts, cas, plug wires, and switched out coil packs, power transistors and ecu was checked out by ecmtuning I believe when they installed the chip. The engine has good compression and is in time. I'm told flooring it activates fuel cut so too much fuel. Injectors are brand new but they are about the only thing I haven't replaced. As long as my afpr is working the inline pump shouldn't over run the rail? The spark doesn't snap extremely loud but seems okay. Since it did this before the new engine I'm trying to figure out what I could have missed that's still on the car.

I'm running e85 global to -44. I recently checked the fuel filter and it looks okay. I did a boost leak test and there was some small leakage but I can't believe that's the issue. I picked up new plugs today and will try that.

Any thoughts are much appreciated.

If your coolant temp sensor is good then you can also try the individual dead time sliders to adjust the 9v to increase the deadtime during start and leave the others where they are at.

Yeah - brand new coolant temp sensor reading outside temp on link. I'm thinking I need to redo my boost leak test again after reading more. I wonder if the sheet metal intake is causing me grief.

I did try adjusting the individual slidders up to 25 I beleive. The car still behaved the same but did restart 4 times compared to once and done like before.
