Montreal,
Hey,
Installed my 1000cc injectors and Aeromotive Fpr and did global compensation -55% and deadtime 315. Problem is at idle and under 3000rpm car runs extremely rich, and when it idles it dies.

How do I with DSMlink, take out fuel when idling and under 3k. I already had to change my spark plugs cause they were filled with gas. What can I do?

I would expect to have idle issues with 1000cc injectors. The problem is with them that large, when you pull FP to idle, the injectors will no longer spray well, they will squirt or drip. I am not sure with DSM link, but what you need to do is somehow (computer) shorten the injector pulse and raise the fuel pressure, to get it to spray again.

Better yet, if you are needing a global -55% compensation, that tells me you dont need 1000cc injectors. I would get smaller injectors. Bigger isnt always better.

Are you running 1000s or just guessing? My FIC 1000s with DSMLink idles perfectly fine.

How are you able to tell whether he needs 1000s by looking at his global compensation?

Lindeberg,

1. Do your calculations again, 1000cc = -58%, not -55%.

2. What did you set the fuel base pressure to? Did you tafflon both the adjustment screw and vacuum fitting on the AFPR? Vacuum leaks there will cause rich conditions much like a fpr overrun.

Apparently these flow 950cc, since they are PTE's.

My fuel base pressure with the vaccum lign out is at 44psi.

Apparently, I just learnt a couple of mins ago from the guys on link forums saying that my O2 sensor is failing, and that I need to adjust my tps. Thing is, I never had this problem until I installed my injectors and I know its ruunning to rich, I just want to lean it out when its idling.

All these things can be easily verified through your DSMLink logs, if the log shows O2 not cycling then you have a problem with the O2 sensor. I would suggest that you continue to follow what the guys are saying on Link.
